Littleton 4, Knowle Reserves 1.
LITTLETON stretched their winning run to 11 matches with this triumph over Knowle in the first round of the Smedley Crooke Cup.
So far this season Littleton have played six cup matches in four different competitions, winning them all.
They are beginning to fall behind in their league fixtures, which is likely to pile-up at the end of the season.
The first-half was a drab affair, until Knowle took the lead with a stunning 25-yard drive.
In the first minute of the second-half, Knowle had a golden opportunity to double their advantage.
Their centre-forward was through with only the keeper to beat, but home keeper Danny Edwards narrowed the angle, and his shot went past the post.
Five minutes later it was 1-1 as Adam Humphries converted a penalty.
The hosts kept pressing and Joe Lolley put Littleton ahead on 57 minutes with a clever turn-and-shot past the keeper.
It was now a question of how many as Littleton attacked in waves and Mark Bellamy converted a rebound off the keeper on 70 minutes to extend the lead.
Lolley pounced to complete the scoring with 10 minutes left.
Littleton reserves maintained their remarkable league away record by winning again.
They have now won all seven on their travels and are second in the table, and still unbeaten.
This, however, was a close-run affair, as they were under pressure for much of the game.
Their only goal was a penalty converted by Ryan Cantrill.
On Saturday, the firsts are away to Droitwich and the reserves home to Future Legends (both kick-off at 2pm).
