EVESHAM UNITED look to grab another win on the road this weekend against Larkhall Athletic (Saturday 9).
United enjoyed a decent start to the season, only losing two of their opening ten games.
Since then they have experienced a minor blip in form, which saw three losses on the bounce to Thatcham Town, Willand Rovers and Malvern Town respectively.
Speaking after the Malvern Town game, manager Mike Ford said: "We managed to gift them the three points.
"I said to the lads, they've not come here and won and taken three points from us, we have handed them the three points because of the mistakes that we've made.
"We made those mistakes today, [against Willand Rovers], and away at Thatcham and that's why you lose three games.
“We made mistakes, gave the ball away twice in the middle of the pitch and they capitalised, fair play. But I don’t think I would suggest they won the game, we gave them the game and they had to defend really well at the end which they did."
On Saturday (November 2), Evesham travelled away to Wiltshire to play Melksham Town, grabbing a win on the road thanks to a 25-yard screamer from Joshua Barlow.
Despite going down to 10 men for much of the second half, the Evesham defence held strong and they were able to see out a 1-0 victory, returning to winning ways.
The result, alongside Evesham's strong early season form, sees them maintain their position within the playoff zone of the Pitching In Southern League Division One South, currently sitting in fourth spot on 23 points.
Next time out, United travel to Larkhall Athletic, a side that currently sit in 14th spot in the league.
Despite coming into the match with the superior league position, Evesham will be wary of a Larkhall side in strong form. Larkhall have won four of their last five games, including a win at home to Thatcham Town - the side that set off Evesham's brief losing blip.
The game kicks off this Saturday at 3pm (November 9).
