EVESHAM UNITED are looking to turn their form around as they play away to Melksham Town this Saturday (November 2).
Evesham lost 2-0 at home to Malvern Town in their last game on Tuesday (October 29), with Malvern's Levi Francis and Sam Clark grabbing the goals.
Speaking after the game, manager Mike Ford said: "We contrived to give the opposition two goals.
"We managed to gift them the three points. I said to the lads, they've not come here and won and taken three points from us, we have handed them the three points because of the mistakes that we've made."
Evesham started their season strong, winning four of their six league games in August and September. Their form has recently taken a turn, which has seen the side winless in their last three games.
However, they have managed to maintain their high league position due to their early form and other results going their way. They currently sit fourth in the league, within the spots that will lead to promotion playoffs come the end of the season.
This weekend's opposition - Melksham Town - currently lie ninth in the table and provide stern opposition for United.
With three wins in their last four games, most recently defeating Bideford 2-1 away, Melksham Town come into the game in high spirits and will hope to use the opportunity to move up the table.
Evesham play away at Melksham this Saturday (November 2), at 3pm.
