The match was very defensive, as both teams played cautiously and avoided unnecessary risks.
Seagulls’ skipper Mark Goldsworthy was active in seeking opportunities but found little space to operate.
Forward Torin Ntege also impressed for the visitors but felt the pressure of the Robins’ solid defence.
The Seagulls maintained a strong defensive line, with goalkeeper Ollie Chenoweth having little to do until the latter part of the match.
At the other end, Robins' goalkeeper Alex Harris was also rarely tested.
Most of the action happened in midfield, with some chances for both sides.
In the first half, Steele had an effort that hit the roof of the net, but it was in the second half when the Robins started to look more dangerous.
Michael O’Regan’s header was saved, and Aaron Heap’s powerful shot hit the crossbar.
The Robins’ supporters, numbering 303, were brought to life when Steele forced a low save from Chenoweth, before Dunn secured the three points when his 88th minute flying header found the net from short range.
Tonight, the Robins will clash with Thatcham Town at 7.45pm.
