Despite coming from behind to secure a 3-2 victory over Willand Rovers, Evesham United's play-off hopes have come to an end.
Spiers & Hartwell Stadium played host on Sunday (April 21) as goals from Levi Steele, Ethan Moran and Aaron Heap saw the hosts overturn a 2-1 deficit thanks to scores from Willand's Douglas Camilo and Thomas Chastey.
The first 25 minutes passed without significant opportunities for either side, until a penalty was granted to Rovers when Jordy Ngathe fouled Joshua Baker, which Camilo smoothly converted.

Steele evened the score for Evesham United five minutes before half-time, tapping in a low-driven ball whipped in by William Owens.
However Chastey swiftly crushed the momentum, regaining the lead for Willand just two minutes into the second half.
United's Ethan Moran, a late substitute, brilliantly equalised with some quick feet and a strike into the top right-hand corner just under 20 minutes later.
Another assist from man of the match Owens put it on a plate for Aaron Heap to score the winner, delivering an Evesham victory 12 minutes from time.
An away trip to Paulton Rovers awaits United in their final game of the season on Saturday (April 27).
