PERSHORE Town conceded in stoppage time as Roman Glass St George rescued a late point in a 2-2 draw in the Hellenic League Premier on Saturday afternoon.
There were chances at both ends in the opening half-an-hour but it was the hosts who broke the deadlock in the 37th minute through Shea Mannings.
Glass held that lead until the 70th minute of the game when recent new signing Dylan Parker netted the equaliser to set-up an thrilling finish.
Pershore thought they had won it three minutes from time as centre-half Jyrel Bojang scored for a third game running but Loui Ward struck in stoppage time for the home side to steal a very late point.
It was probably a fair result given both sides led in the game but it will still pinch for Pershore, who came close to a big win.
As a result of the draw, they move up a place into eighth in the Hellenic League Premier, only two points off the play-off places, where Glass remain in fourth.
