IT was late heartbreak for Evesham United as Archie Willcox' 95th-minute winner meant it was Winchester City progressed into the next round of the FA Cup.
Winchester took the lead in the 13th minute via Dan Jones' low finish and they extended their lead two minutes after the restart when the goalkeeper's attempted clearance was charged down by Olly Balmer.
But Evesham turned it around in the second-half and Levi Steele's 59th-minute penalty halved the deficit.
The game seemed to swing further in Evesham's favour two minutes later when Max Smith was shown a straight red card.
And when Will Owens equalised with still 20 minutes to play, Evesham became favourites to go on and win it but centre-half Willcox scambled the ball home from a corner to send the 10-men through to the second round of qualifying.
