IT proved to be a frustrating night for Pershore Town as Jordan Alderman's late goal pinched a point for Longlevens in their Hellenic Leaguer Premier clash on Tuesday.
Pershore keeper Eddie Cox punched the ball onto the back of the head of Alderman, before the ball trickled over the line.
Aidan Clark had given The Plums the lead just after the half-time break but Brad Martin slotted home mid-way through the second-half.
Sean Brain headed the hosts back into the lead with his third goal of the season but they were not able to hold on as Alderman's fortunate goal secured a point for the away side.
Pershore came into the contest fresh after not playing in the FA Cup at the weekend and still unbeaten in the league with two wins from their three matches.
But they were unable to make it a third win in a row against a dogged Levens outfit, who battled hard for their point.
The result means Pershore remain undefeated to start the 2023/24 campaign and stay fourth in the Hellenic Premier table.
Lewis Marston's side are back in action on Bank Holiday Monday when they make the short trip to Hereford Pegasus for a 3pm kick-off.
