SEVENTY-two players from seventeen different clubs attended the Seniors Pairs Open event at the Vale Golf and County Club last weekend.
The Vale were holding their second Open of the season which was a men's pair competition, which attracted a large number of players from around the area.
The winning pairs with 43 points were Andy Vale from the Vale GCC and David Kent from the Worcester GCC.
Second with 42 points were Mick Heard and Martin Westwood of Vale GCC. Third with 41 points were Kevin Porter of Stourbridge GC and Mike Dunn of Enville GC. Nearest the pin on the 5th was Mike Collier Vale from GCC. Nearest the pin In two on the 17th was Mike Dunn.
The next Seniors Open is a AM/AM with two to count on Wednesday 13th September.
