EVESHAM United's pre-season campaign continued on Tuesday night as they drew 1-1 with Bromsgrove Sporting.
Evesham took the lead in the sixth minute through Amer Awadh's penalty after Alfie Dunn was brought down in the box.
The Robins were awarded another spot kick in the first-half but Brennan Dennis-Barrett's effort was saved.
It would prove to be a game of penalties and in the second-half Sporting's Conor Tee converted from 12 yards out to level the game up at 1-1.
The visitors pushed for a winner and were the better side in the second period but they were unable to find a winner and the game ended a draw.
It was Evesham's second game of their pre-season campaign, having played Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
The League One side brought a big squad to Evesham, including scholars and youth team players, as well as a handful of first-team members.
The hosts did take a surprise lead early doors thanks to Levi Steele but Cameron Walters equalised for Cheltenham.
Liam Sercombe then fired in two to make it 3-1, but an own goal from Walters pulled one back for Evesham just before half-time.
Lewis Freestone nodded in Cheltenham's fourth in the second half, five minutes after Wade Elliott changed his entire outfield line-up, giving everyone a run-out at the Jubilee Stadium.
710 was the official attendance on the gate, meaning it was a successful day for Evesham off the pitch. But they also more than held their own on it and were able to take plenty of positives from the contest.
Their next game is at home on Saturday at 3PM against Easington Sports FC.
