JAYDN Crosbie struck in each half as Mangotsfield United beat Pershore Town to lift the Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup on Tuesday night.
It was a frustrating night for Danny Janes' Pershore side, who could not turn their dominance with the ball into meaningful opportunities against a Mangotsfield outfit that stood firm and took their chances when they came.
Striker Crosbie showed an impressive turn of foot to get in behind Pershore defender Matt Nutt towards the end of the first-half before cutting onto his right and firing past Eddie Cox.
There was plenty of huff and puff from the hosts but Crosbie's second 20 minutes from time settled it as he beat the offside trap and slotted past Cox in emphatic fashion to win the cup for Mangos.

It had been a pretty uneventful opening half-an-hour as both sides struggled to create opportunities to trouble either keeper.
But Pershore were having a lot of the ball and finally sprung into life as the half wore on.
Petar Tonchev spurned a good chance after some neat build-up play in the Mangotsfield half before Steven Webb dragged a shot inches wide of the post.
But despite looking the more likely, it was the visitors who took the lead with 35 minutes on the clock.
A through ball put striker Crosbie into space down the left and he cut inside Matt Nutt before striking past Eddie Cox, despite the Pershore keeper getting a big hand to the effort.
The Plums continued to enjoy possession into the second-half and were pressing for the equaliser without actually forcing Jakob Glover into a meaningful save.
And if Pershore were struggling to turn pressure into chances, the away side certainly weren't and they made the hosts pay with 20 minutes to play as Crosbie beat the offside trap and showed brilliant composure to finish brilliantly past Cox.
Janes' side pushed but were just not able to find a way past a stubborn and organised Mangos outfit, who should have made it 3-0 when Crosbie beat Cox to a loose header back from Logan Stoddart. The ball came back off the post and somehow stayed out as Pershore breathed a huge sigh of relief.
But they could not capitalise on the missed chance and the full-time whistle ended Pershore's hopes.
