Pershore swimming club attended the 2023 County Championships at both Worcester and Wolverhampton swimming pools.
The club had some amazing swims throughout all the age groups, consisting of 31 age group and open championship wins, eight second-place finishes and eight third-places.
There were 87 personal bests from 24 swimmers and 52 regional times with 13 regional qualifiers.
Among the swimmers was 13-year-old Kelton Levy, who achieved 20 personal best times for all his swims, qualified for every final and medalled in 50m freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly.
Millie Thomas came second in the 16 year age group 50m Breaststroke, Harry Porter came third in the 12 year age group 50m backstroke and Natalija Kelly came third in the 16 year age group 100m backstroke.
Elizabeth Annis, aged 14, had some strong swims achieving 1st place in 50m butterfly, 50m and 100m backstroke, 2nd place in 100m Individual Medley and 100m freestyle and 3rd place in the 100m butterfly.
David Annis, competing in the open age group achieved 1st place overall in 100m individual medley, 200m individual medley, 400m Individual Medley, 400m freestyle 2nd place in the 200m butterfly, 50m breaststroke, 50m butterfly and 100m butterfly.
Martha Stead, competing in the open age group took 1st place overall in 100m & 200m backstroke. 2nd place in 100m freestyle, 100m Individual Medley and 50m backstroke. 3rd place in 50m freestyle.
Hannah Woodcock, Pershore Swimming Club’s Ladies' captain. Competing in the open age group achieved 1st place overall in the 50m breaststroke, 200m breaststroke, 100m individual medley, 50m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 2nd place in the 100m butterfly and 200m Individual Medley.
Patrick Heeks, Pershore Swimming Club’s Mens captain, also competing in the open age group achieved 1st place overall in 50m, 100m, 200m butterfly , 100m freestyle. 2nd place in 50m backstroke and 3rd place in 50m freestyle.
