IT was a frustrating afternoon for Dumbelton as their Voneus Village Cup Regional Final with Hagley was cancelled due to the rain last Sunday.
The two were set to go head-to-head for a place in the National round of the competition, where the final is played at Lord's.
But there are still five rounds to play before that and the game will now be moved, to next Sunday at Dumbleton according to a competition spokesperson.
The winners will play the winners of the Northamptonshire final, Weekley & Warkton or Kimbolton, after that game also fell foul to the conditions.
Dumbleton did get to play their league game, however, last Saturday as they maintained their good form in the West of England Premier League Gloucestershire Division.
They moved up into second after thrashing bottom of the table Apperley by 290 runs.
A huge knock from Dumbleton's Tom Boorman - 176 runs from just 129 balls - guided the hosts to a massive total of 322/7.
Ryan Kilmister then took 5-15 with the ball as Dumbleton bowled out the visitors for just 32 runs in 13 overs.
Elsewhere in Evesham, Adrian Witts scored 90 with the bat as Bretforton won a dramatic game at Elmley Castle in the Cotswold Hills League Premier.
The visitors won with the last ball of the day as they secured a one-wicket win to move up into fifth in the table.
