Dumbleton Cricket Club have reached the Worcestershire Regional Final of the 2022 Voneus Village Cup after a nine-run win over fellow Evesham club Bretforton last Sunday.
Ross Martin (51) and Scott Tremain's (36) partnership proved decisive for Dumbleton as the away side posted 179 all out in their innings.
51 from Bretforton's Ashley Icke gave the home side hope but they came up agonisingly short in their run chase as they missed out on a final place.
Dumbleton will now face Hagley on the road again for a chance to progress to the national rounds, where the winner would face one of Weekley & Warkton or Kimbolton.
It proved to be a double losing weekend for Bretforton as they were beaten by three wickets in their Cotswold Hills League Premier Division clash with Shipston-on-Stour on Saturday.
Elsewhere in the league, Badsey were comprehensively beaten in their Division Two contest at Bidford-on-Avon.
The hosts made light work of Badsey's 126 all out, needing just 22 overs to overs complete the chase for the loss of just three wickets.
Joe Burford and Craig Witherford both scored centuries for Harvington in their 10-wicket crushing of Feckenham 2XI in the Worcestershire County League Division Eight.
The openers needed just 22 overs to overcome Feckenham's 114 all-out after Finaly Burford had taken four wickets.
