FORMER Evesham United loanee Will Armitage is on the verge of a move to Premier League side Southampton.
The Cheltenham Town 16-year-old, who spent a brief time with The Robins last season on loan, is due to have a medical with Southampton on Wednesday as the top-flight outfit finalise the deal.
The figure is around the £200,000 mark for the first year scholar, who has made just one senior appearance for Cheltenham.
Armitage became the youngest player in the Robins' history when he made his debut in a Papa John's Trophy group match against Exeter City on October 5 last year.
