PERSHORE Rugby Club bagged their sixth Midlands Four West (South) win of the season by thrashing lowly Kings Norton 64-14.
The visitors went 7-0 up after 10 minutes but Pershore started to get a grip on the game, playing into a stiff breeze and keeping the ball for long periods.
Their hard work paid off as tries from Damien May, Martin Hope and Brian Ranns earned a 17-7 half-time lead.
The game opened up in the second period with the forwards securing plenty of ball for the backs to cause problems.
George Meadows, Dave Oliver and Cameron Bond all made life hard for Kings Norton who hit back with a try.
But Andy Jenkinson (2), Bond, Oliver and Dan Mayfield set Pershore on the road to victory with front row May touching down twice more for a hat-trick.
Eighth-placed Pershore go to Birmingham Civil Service on Saturday looking to climb the table.
