TWO young Pershore Swimming Club aces qualified for the National Winter Short Course Championships.
Hannah Woodcock, 15, and Patrick Heeks, 16, headed to Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield, after meeting the challenging times required to compete.
Pershore High School pupil Heeks made two 18 year and under finals out of five events.
He was ninth in the 50-metre butterfly final in 25.05 seconds after doing 25.12 in the heat.
Heeks finished ninth in the 100m butterfly final in 55.99 after setting 55.57 in the heat.
He also did 24.09 in the 50m freestyle, one minute one second in the 100m individual medley and 2.08.32 in the 200m butterfly.
Woodcock clocked 33.43 in the 50m breaststroke, 26.48 in the 50m freestyle and 1.05.66 in the 100m individual medley.
The King's School Worcester pupil had previously been recovering from an injury which hindered her training.
