RICHARD Preen lifted the Lloyd Cup at Broadway Golf Club's annual trophy presentation evening.
Winners from all sections were invited to receive their awards with a full house on the night.
One of the many accolades was the cup which was introduced in 1912 by the then-president.
It has become one of the most prestigious trophies at the club and goes to the ultimate winner of a match-play challenge throughout the season.
After a hard-fought final match the deserved winner was Preen with the runner-up being Callum Millard.
Fifty-two men’s pairs played their winter league round three greensomes match on a bright but windy morning.
Derek Keenan and Simon Jayes won with 45 points but only on countback from Jamie Thomas and Callum Millard.
Duncan Spittle and Russell Payne were third on 43 and James Mooney and Adam Sutton fourth on 42.
