EVESHAM Rugby Club lost 11-7 in a low-scoring match at Earlsdon in Midlands Two West (South).
The visitors enjoyed the lion’s share of possession and territory in the first half but only scored once before the break.
Will Bugg crossed the line and Mike Diston converted for a 7-0 half-time lead.
The momentum shifted dramatically in the second period with Earlsdon every bit as dominant as Evesham were in the first.
The hosts scored two penalties and an unconverted try to claim the spoils.
Mid-table Evesham, who host fourth-placed Stratford on Saturday, were disappointed with the loss but added a losing bonus point to their league tally.
Pershore thrashed visitors Harbury 57-0 in Midlands Four West (South).
The victory put the icing on the cake after the official opening of Pershore's new changing rooms and refurbished clubhouse at Piddle Park.
Eighth-placed Pershore visit bottom-of-the-table Kings Norton on Saturday.
Bredon Star lost 30-7 at home to Brockworth in Gloucestershire Two North and they visit Cainscross on Saturday.
