ELMLEY Castle lead Cotswold Hills Cricket League Division One following a 54-run triumph at FISSC.
The table-toppers amassed 256-5 from 45 overs thanks to James Bailey (66), Stuart Cullen (42 not out) and Simon Cooper (38no) among others.
FISSC were bowled out for 202 with Matthew Ormerod claiming 3-39.
Mid-table Ashton-under-Hill lost by four wickets at home to Leamington thirds.
Jayesh Patel scored 42 in Ashton’s 178-8 before Leamington won with 179-6 in 33.1 overs.
Bretforton collected their second Premier Division win of the season.
The village side beat visitors Long Itchington by 23 runs after bowling them out for 123.
Paul Jones (34) top scored as Bret were bowled out for 146 in 33 overs.
Opener Dan Lamb added 26 and Steven Clarke 23.
Jones took 3-16 and Lamb 3-23 to secure success for the sixth-placed side.
Third-placed Badsey beat Catherine de Barnes by four wickets in Division Two.
Marcus Humpston (4-49) and Michael Powell (4-51) were among the wickets but the visitors set a challenging 243-9.
Badsey claimed victory in 41.2 overs due to skipper Powell carrying his bat for 115 not out in their 245-6.
Sam Thomson added 41 and Callum Mason 30.
The Lenches were bowled out for 70 in losing by nine wickets at Mickleton in Division Three.
The batting collapsed in 29.5 overs as James Adams took 5-11.
Captain George Wilcock (46no) guided Mickleton home.
Broadway won at Long Itchington seconds by 51 runs after totalling 300-9.
Jason Horsburgh (67), Josh Burford (54no) and Jamie Powell (45) were among the runs.
Despite 112 from Jake Butler, the home side fell short on 249-9 with Callum Millard taking 3-42.
Meanwhile, Bredon’s struggle at the bottom of Worcestershire League Division One continued as they lost by 62 runs at home to Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social.
Alex Antonelli (4-44) helped restrict the Black Country side to 198-6 from 50 overs only for Bredon to fall for 136 in reply.
Clive Fenney (24) top scored while Antonelli added 23no from number 10.
