PERSHORE rose to third in the Worcestershire League Premier Division with their fourth win out of six games.
The town side beat hosts Bewdley by 58 runs thanks to Charlie Cross (62), Chris Miles (49) and seamer Stephen Miles (4-43).
It was the third time in the opening six matches that the Plums had racked up a maximum 24-point haul in their opening six league matches to keep up the pressure on leaders Redditch and second-placed Chaddesley Corbett.
Evesham's miserable start continued with a six-wicket loss at Stourport.
Muhammad Saqib (20) and tail-ender Muhammad Tahir Mirza (18) provided the only resistance to Evesham being skittled for 106.
Ryan Derrick's unbeaten 58 settled Stourport's response after a shaky start, seeing through a winning total of 108 for four off 20 overs.
