BATSMAN Conor Murphy became the youngest player to score a league century for Shipston-on-Stour Cricket Club.
The 15-year-old hit 103 not out for the seconds in a Marston's Pedigree Cotswold Hills League Division Three relegation battle with Stanway.
But the game at London Road was eventually abandoned due to rain with Shipston picking up 12 points after scoring 268-2 and Stanway six.
Skipper Matt Pratt won the toss and decided to bat as openers Murphy and Andy Corby set a firm foundation before the latter holed out for 26.
James Paton scored a fluent 42 and Murphy completed his first league 50.
Full batting points were collected as he enjoyed a 160-run unbeaten partnership with Pratt (79no) and sealed the ton in the final over with a glance to leg.
Stanway were on 60-4 when the heavy rain hit with John Paton taking 2-37 and Pratt 2-21.
Pete Green scored 24 and Andrew Powell 22.
Shipston firsts scored 209-9 as their Premier Division clash at title-chasing Lapworth was also abandoned.
The sides claimed 11 points each after opener Julian Morris scored 116 for the visitors.
Shipston skipper Tom Cox batted first on what looked a slow pitch with Jack Murphy and Marcus Ireland both falling for five.
But Morris and Jamie Shurmer produced a partnership of 84 to take the score to 106-2 at drinks.
Morris got to 50 just before the break but Shurmer hit a long hop to be caught for 24.
Neil Wilson (0) departed, leaving Cox (16) and Morris to bat well together for another 50 partnership.
The Shipston opener registered his first ton of the season and the team's fifth before being caught in the 43rd over with Sam Dexter finishing on 23 not out.
Lapworth's openers dealt with changing conditions to race to 70 until Jack Murphy (1-37) deceived captain Sean Cross (35).
Morris (2-37) removed David Pugh (17) and Jo Troth (52) but the rain finally ended their innings after 21 overs on 132-3.
