THE Plums secured a brilliant win 5-1 win against Hereford Pegasus.
Pershore Town hosted the opposition at the Community Stadium under the lights for a 7.45pm kick-off.
Attacker James Baldwin had a dream first half, slotting two goals in past Hereford Pegasus keeper Matt Gwyne.
For the first goal, Aidan Clark picked up the ball to play it through to Baldwin on the wing, who cut in and smashed it home to open the scoring.
For the second goal, the ball was played down the line to Aiden Clark, who got it to Sam Clark, to lay up Baldwin to fire it home.
A dominant first-half performance ended at 2-0, and allowed The Plums to regroup in the dressing room before heading back out to finish the job.
After the break, it was midfielder Josh Willis who came up with the goods to make the scoreline 3-0 for Pershore.
A ball was played down the line to Aiden Clarke, who looped the ball to the back post where Willis brought it down to score.
Pershore Town currently sit in third in the league with 11 points, ahead of local rivals Worcester Raiders in fourth with 10 points.
On Tuesday, September 19, Pershore Town will take on Westfields FC who sit in sixth in the league with 10 points.
Before long, Willis had his second of the game when Alex Costa played a pass forward which he was able to calmly finish.
It was 'super sub' Scott Hammond who got the last of Pershore's goals in the match. A long ball was played over the top and the keeper missed the chance to clear the ball.
That was all Hammond needed to pick the ball up on the edge of the box and slot it home to make it 5-0.
The Plums must have been disappointed not to come away with a clean sheet after such a dominant performance, with a rebounded shot finding the back of the net after a great save from Eddie Cox.
