60 teams from golf clubs across the country got their putters out to compete in a seniors competition in Evesham.
Players from 32 golf clubs, including those as far as Royal North Devon, Buckingham, and Ross-on-Wye, competed in the Vale Seniors Pairs Open on Wednesday, July 3.
The day, which started on a rainy note, saw conditions improve as the day went on, with the participants playing with the format of a better-ball Stableford off the yellow tees on the International Course.

The pairing of Duilio Perla and Keith Nicholls of the Vale dominated the match, winning via a count back after three teams tied on the same number of points (44).
Next in line was the team of Andy Vale and David Kent from The Vale & Worcester Gold and Country Club, being level on 44 points but missing out on first place.
In third place was Ian Ream and Nigel Watmough of Buckingham GC, who also finished with 44 points.
Nearest proximity to the pin on the fifth hole was Martin Keogh (Handsworth GC), while Mark Triggs (The South Staffordshire GC) was closest on the 14th.
£661 was raised for Parkinson's UK, which was this year's Captain's charity.
Community members and businesses contributed to the sum.
The Vale Seniors will host its final Open for the year on Wednesday, September 18, which will be a four-player Stableford competition with two scores counting and a maximum playing handicap of 28.
