England Rugby will pay tribute to a local rugby star who died after sustaining an injury whilst scoring a try.
Jack Jeffery died after scoring a try during Evesham Rugby Clubs match at Berkswell & Balsall on Saturday, February 12.
Last weekend, clubs across the county paid tribute to the 27-year-old by retiring the number 11 and holding a minute applause in his honour.
Today, England Rugby will pay tribute to Mr Jeffery before the Six Nations clash with Wales at Twickenham, which kicks off at 4:45 pm.
A spokesman of the national team said: “The rugby family came together over the weekend to pay tribute to Jack Jeffery, who tragically died recently.
“Jack will also be remembered before kick-off at Saturday’s game against Wales. RIP Jack.”

England have said that like county clubs, they will retire the number 11 shirt for the important match.
Worcester Warriors paid tribute to the Evesham wing by holding a minute applause before their Gallagher Premiership fixture with Bristol last week.
The club welcomed Mr Jeffery’s family as well as the Evesham first team, coaches, and staff as special guests for the night, presenting them with two special shirts.
After the match, a 19-14 win, Worcester invited the Jeffery family to the changing room to meet the players and enjoy a drink.
Lock Matt Garvey said: “This club is all about community. We want to be a part of that. We want to help each other out. When they are hurting, we are hurting.”
