MEMBERS of Pershore and Upton NFU raised £600 for the farming charity RABI at a sponsored ploughing match.
“It was a very good effort, organised by branch treasurer Paul Fardon, and the money will be presented at the RABI dinner later this month along with the proceeds from the charity clay pigeon shoot we are arranging,” said Ray Foster-Morison, secretary at Pershore.
Pictured at the event are, from left to right: Andrew Baxter, David Goodwin, Ray Foster- Morison, Roger Allard in the tractor with Tom Goodwin at the wheel, and Richard Allard, of Tallis Amos Group, Hinton- on-the-Green, who sponsored the tractor.
The fuel was sponsored by contractor Martin Hodgetts with help from David Hine of Boughton Fuels.
