BEAUTIFUL blooms and buzzing bees kept youngsters from Fladbury CE First School busy.
Children visited Woodward Community Orchard in Fladbury to find out about the wildlife and trees there.
Peter Bugg, chairman of the community orchard, talked to them about the lifecycle of an apple tree and about the role bees play in pollination, as well as the orchard’s history.
He said: “It was great to talk to the children about the orchards and for them to learn that fruit trees are a good source of pollen for bees and also good nectar producers. Honeybees are probably best known for their buzzing noise and for their honey.”
