EARLY demand for trade stand space augurs well for the September 7 Moreton Show.
Last year there were more than 320 stands at the show offering a wide range of products and services.
Since the list opened for this year’s event last month, there has already been a large number of new applications as well as regulars booking.
Society chairman James Coker said: “I am very encouraged by the large number of new traders who would like to exhibit at the show.
“Obviously we give priority to our existing traders but we are making good use of the extra space on the showground which we have had access to for the past two years.
“I am looking forward to seeing our regulars and welcoming new traders to the show in September.”
For the first time last year the show staged a local catering area which featured local producers offering cooked food for visitors.
Katherine Loyd said’ “I was extremely pleased with how the local catering area was received and the Country Larder Food Hall, sponsored by Warner Budgens, was once again a huge success.”
She added: “I am looking forward to the continued development of both areas, which give local producers a platform from which to showcase their products and to meet their customers.
“I am also happy to report that Guy Warner has confirmed that local chefs will again be demonstrating their cooking skills throughout the day which has been much enjoyed by our visitors.”
Anyone wishing to apply for a trade stand can visit moretonshow.co.uk and apply online or call 01608 651908 and request a traders’ pack.
