VISITORS to the Cotswold Farm Park can enjoy the popular attraction for a little longer this year.
The farm at Guiting Power has launched its new winter opening hours and for the first time this year, is opening until Christmas Eve due to popular demand.
Daily demonstrations are being held every 30 minutes in the new heated barn including lamb and goat bottle feeding, a pig show which gives an insight into rare breeds and ‘chick chat’ – looking at chick hatching and growing.
There is also a ‘woolly warmer’ demonstration where people can have a go at spinning wool from some of the resident rare breed sheep.
Alexandra Tilley Loughrey, spokesman for the farm park, said: “I think it’s fantastic for people in these grim dark days.
“People can still come out and get a real country experience.
There’s lots of seasonal produce. It’s proving very popular. Normally the farm park closes at the end of half-term.”
The farm is open daily from 10.30am to 4pm.
