KEY figures from the agricultural industry were invited to the latest LEAF demonstration farm in Overbury.
Overbury Farms, an arable and sheep farm on the slopes of Bredon Hill, held the event to recognise its ongoing involvement with the Linking Environment and Farming organisation (LEAF).
The event started in the village before touring the arable and sheep farm and looking at how the LEAF principals and the higher level stewardship agreement are integrated with modern livestock and arable practices.
Overbury Farms was assessed on principles including soil management, crop health, pollution control and animal husbandry before it was asked to be a demonstration farm.
Owner Penelope Bossom and farm manager Jake Freestone are no strangers to engaging with the public after being involved with Open Farm Sunday and lambing events for several years.
