The November meeting was opened by the Chairman, Sandra Reed. After the usual business of the AGM and the presentation of the silver salver to Sylvia Hale, the overall competition winner, we celebrated our 30th anniversary with a most enjoyable party. The hall was decked out with flowers and balloons with pearls as the theme. We were served a very good supper, brought in by Karen Smith, served wine at the table by members and well entertained by Dr Bob King a magician whose white rabbit went on to join the party.
Our next meeting is January 19 when John Guest will talk about 'Tools from the Garden Shed'. Visitors very welcome at 7.30pm in the King George's Hall.
