SHEEP – 717 Head. Another good entry of sheep this week. At 5pm on Monday night we had just over 300 sheep booked in, the turnout was double this. If you are considering bringing stock please do ring or text your entries to Ed (07786 842230), Brian (07778 970628) or James (07753 895716) it is useful to know when ringing for buying support, as on those numbers several buyers were wavering as to attending or not.

A plea from us and Trading Standards re lamb eartags:- we CANNOT and will not accept lambs on old tags, i.e. UK Flock Number and Individual Numbers. They MUST be either a Batch Slaughter Tag (electronic or not) or a full set of EID tags. Trading Standards will be enforcing this rule and lambs incorrectly tagged will be sent home. It is in your interest to electronically identify your lambs!
