A BRAND new meeting and event space has been created at The Dormy House hotel and spa on Broadway's Farncombe Estate.
In the same vein as the hotel, The Studio has a Scandi chic design and plenty of natural daylight from the dormer windows. It has been equipped with a state-of-the-art AV system and high-speed Wi-Fi and there is a conference phone, apple TV connection for all devices and a wireless printer. Unusual touches include a tuck-shop wall with old-fashioned sweets and a fridge filled with a selection of energising smoothies are also provided. To kick start the day The Studio also boasts a Nespresso machine with wide range of artisan coffees and speciality teas, provided by Jing Tea. Healthy lunches are served in funky bento boxes, or delegates can enjoy a two-course option in the Potting Shed. Dinner is served privately in the Top Table from either The Potting Shed menu or from the Garden Room menu.
Chris Ward, commercial director of Farncombe Estate, said: "Like Dormy House, The Studio has a real sense of fun and inspires creativity. We are delighted to have the space to offer to guests who are looking to host corporate meetings and private functions in a relaxed environment. Not only is The Studio equipped with all the mod-cons, but there are plenty of quirky Dormy touches too, such as the tuck-shop’.
