CULTURE Club singer Boy George will make an appearance in Evesham next week.
The 80s star – pictured – will be coming to Evesham just days after a performance at the Royal Albert Hall on November 23 for the Prince’s Trust. He has already appeared in Switzerland, Romania, Italy and Brazil and is now embarking on the UK leg of the tour, which will bring him to Marilyn’s nightclub in Bridge Street on Saturday, November 26.
Manager of Marilyn’s, Greg Morris, was delighted to announce the performance – which will be the singer’s only performance in the UK other than at the Albert Hall. He will preside over a 90-minute DJ set and pose for pictures.
He said: “I am ecstatic we have secured George who in the 28 years of Marilyn’s history must rank as one the biggest performers to appear.”
