A BIDFORD care home has celebrated the dignity of its residents with a week of special activities.
Waterloo House Care Home on Waterloo Road held various events to show that dignity is a central part of the care they provide to their residents.
Monday saw everyone donning purple outfits, while Tuesday was just for the residents as they took part in a pamper day.
As the week went on there was a wish tree where residents pinned their hopes and at a later date the staff will select some wishes and bring them to life.
And a balloon release marked the end of an enjoyable week.
Tracey York from Alpha Care Homes who run Waterloo House said: “We tried to make the week as fun and interesting as possible for our residents, to remind them their dignity is of the highest importance to us and to show them we value them as individuals.”
