BIDFORD Parish Council will hold a public meeting on Thursday, August 11, at 7pm to discuss the future of the village library.
The library is one of many that is losing funding and must be taken on by the community if it is to remain open.
Currently the number of people using the library is in decline but the parish council hopes people will turn out to support this important local service.
There will be the opportunity for residents to put their views forward during the meeting after parish council chairman Mike Gerrard has outlined the details of the proposal to be made to Warwickshire County Council.
The meeting is in the parish council meeting room, Bramley Way, Bidford.
