STAFF and children at Bidford Primary School have been awarded a Food for Life Partnership bronze award for their healthy and ‘climate-friendly’ food culture. As part of the award scheme the school has been serving seasonal school meals, 75 per cent of which are freshly prepared by school cook Tanya Fisher. Headteacher Andrew Simms said: “We are pleased with this award as it recognises all the hard work and dedication of our pupils, staff and governors. It also demonstrates our commitment to promoting quality outcomes for children’s health and wellbeing.”
