YOUNG firefighters from Bidford have been celebrating their success at the Young Firefighters Association (YFA) annual awards.
Young firefighter Ryan Horton received both a bronze and silver award for his time in the Young Firefighters Association, along with Christopher Jones and Craig Smith, who also received silver awards.
The ceremony, held every two years, took place in March at North Leamington School.
It saw Lord Lieutenant Martin Dunne, the High Sheriff Richard Hardy, Councillor Richard Hobbs and Chief Fire Officer Graeme Smith present awards to the youngsters from the Bidford area.
Mr Smith said “The evening went really well and was a clear reflection of the hard work and dedication of not only the young firefighters, but to all those involved in working with our young people.”
The Young Firefighter of the Year Award went to Alcester YFA’s, Jasmine Lewis, with her mother Tracy Lewis picking up the Instructor of the Year Award.
