WITH road surface temperatures predicted to dip as low as -9 degrees Centigrade tonight, the county council’s gritting fleet will be out again.
Conditions will remain dry but a precautionary grit will take place on some routes in the north of the county from 7pm.
But roads in Evesham and Pershore are unlikely to get a fresh dusting of rock salt, as residual levels of grit in south Worcestershire and in major towns are said to be sufficient.
Conditions will be monitored through the night and teams will remain on standby in case conditions worsen and the advice remains to motorists not to assume roads have been gritted.
