STUDENTS at Pershore High School have been busy collecting items for the Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal in aid of youngsters around the world affected by poverty and hardship.
By last Friday the students had collected about 100 shoeboxes in time for the charity’s departure on Sunday.
Sixth form student Chloe Bitcon said: “Everyone was encouraged to get involved and were rewarded house points for doing so. We have been taking part in the campaign for a number of year now, and are collecting more boxes each year.”
