GRITTERS are again out in force to ensure the county’s roads keep moving during the cold snap.
Worcestershire County Council’s 31-strong fleet set about treating primary routes at 3pm this afternoon as possible snow showers and overnight temperatures of -5°C were forecast.
Gritting of secondary routes will commence once the primaries have been completed.
The council is again warning motorists to take care on the roads and make maintenance checks before setting off on journeys.
Regular updates can be found at worcestershire.gov.uk, or on the 'gritter twitter' page, twitter.com/worcscc.
Members of the public can also call the Worcestershire Hub on 08456 072005 for highways inquiries or 01905 765765 for general inquiries.
