STUDENTS at Evesham High School are hoping a fund-raising night will be a runaway success.
The school is hosting a race night tomorrow to raise money for a football and hockey sports tour of Holland for 70 students in February.
There will be eight races in total and participants can place bets on any horse, with winners being entered into a prize draw. Naming a horse is £2 and there is the opportunity to sponsor one of the eight races.
There will also be a bar selling refreshments. Tickets for the evening are £1 and are available from the PE department, the school finance office or on the door, with the first race starting at 8pm.
