A COFFEE morning fund-raiser is being held in memory of an Evesham woman who lost her battle with breast cancer earlier this year. Mini pamper sessions, a raffle, tombola and trade stalls will all be part of the event in memory of Pina Anderson. Mrs Anderson was first diagnosed with cancer in 1997 but after successful treatment which left the cancer laying dormant, it returned in 2007. She competed in the Race for Life event for 10 years in Evesham, Cheltenham and Stratford raising more than £6,000 in the process. She worked as an administrator at Evesham High School and left two sons, George and Luke. The event is in aid of Cancer Research UK and is being held at Evesham Town Hall on Saturday from 10am-2pm. For more information on the event, call Rita Thompson on 07957 780959.
