On a freezing cold morning in Pershore High Street, I was glad to dash through the open door of a multiple chemist, into the tropical heat of the shop.
After a minor purchase, I offered to close the wedged-open door, on my way out - to preserve the precious and costly heat.
"No thanks - we are not allowed to close it" came the swift reply! That's silly, I said, considering how much it costs to heat a shop!
"Well those are the rules!" the lady said.
I am pleased to announce Pershore has the warmest High Street in the West Midlands - certainly round the chemists' shops!
Don't freeze - come and shop here!
