THE soaring voices of Salford Priors School choir ensured a suitably festive opening to the school’s Christmas fete.
The children demonstrated their vocal skills to the crowds on Saturday fresh from taking part in Young Voices at the NEC. The event sees thousands of youngsters from across the country come together for the world’s largest children’s choir concert.
Father Christmas also took time out of his busy schedule to meet and greet children, while parents and carers enjoyed browsing gift stalls and other attractions.
Headteacher, Janet Satchwell, said: “The event is always well supported and the work of the PTA and its supporters is incredibly valuable because it means we can buy lovely things for the children.”
