TWO men have been rushed to hospital, one by air ambulance, after a collision between two cars in a village near Pershore.

An ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance were called to a location near Wadborough Hall Farm in Wadborough, shortly after 8.20am today.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Two cars had collided. One of the drivers, a man in his forties, had shoulder and back pain and a suspected fractured sternum. He was flown to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

“The other driver, a man in his thirties, had neck pain and was taken by land ambulance to the same hospital.”
