A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after a road crash in Fladbury which badly damaged the two cars involved.

The woman, driving a red Volkswagen Polo, received ‘non life-threatening‘ injuries in the collision with a black Nissan Navara being driven by a man. The incident occurred on Mill Bank at 8.30am on Thursday.

The male driver was uninjured and police are now appealing for witnesses to get in touch with information about the incident. Both the cars were damaged and had to be cleared away from the road which caused some delays for motorists on their way to work.
