A PENSIONER suffered a crushed toe when her leg became trapped in a car door.
The 77-year-old was parking the vehicle in Bretforton at about 4pm on Wednesday (24) when it is believed to have surged forward into a garage.
The driver’s side door open at the time and her lower leg became trapped.
Two fire appliances, one from Evesham and one from Pebworth, attended the scene and used a winch to tow the car out of the garage to enable ambulance crews to reach the woman.
She was treated for crush injuries and taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
