A brilliant time was had by all who attended the 1940’s night held at Sedgeberrow Village Hall.
The Chipping Campden Swing Band did us proud and the “Andrews Sisters” were the icing on the cake. The event was a sell out with audience participation during the interval which included enthusiastic flag waving and singing.
Everyone had a chance to buy “black market” goods (to supplement their food rations), raffle tickets and to take part in the impromptu auction.
I’m please to say we raised £225 for Village Hall Funds but a staggering £1,179.39 for Help for Heroes. Well done and thank you to all who helped and took part.
Marilyn Butt, Sedgeberrow.
