ONE of Evesham’s most famous sons is appearing in his home town in December when he performs a selection of Noel Coward’s songs and verse.
Alistair McGowan is to perform in Sincerely Noel at Evesham Arts Centre on Saturday, December 4 at 8pm. Evesham Arts Association presents the fine evening of entertainment from the BAFTA award-winning actor and comedian.
Audiences will find something that strikes a chord with each of them in this often funny, sometimes sad but always entertaining performance.
Featuring songs and verse from the full breadth of Noel Coward's career, McGowan and Charlotte Page deliver pieces such as 'Mad about the Boy', 'Room with a View', 'Honeymoon 1905' and 'This Is To Let You Know' with a style and poignancy that perfectly captures the essence of Coward.
Tickets are £17 on the door, £15 advance bookings and £14 concessions from The Almonry Heritage Centre & Tourist Information Centre on 01386 446944 or online from eveshamartscentre.co.uk
